Nice that you got it to work. StarMade can be a little vague at times.
Since you mentioned the declare war on hostile a long with the turret settings. I figured that you maybe toughed this setting effected how the turret responded to Pirates.
Since the setting is about should your faction...
Declare war on hostile action is a Faction option in the Faction menu.
Select target is an option in the Bobby AI block.
Make sure the Bobby AI of the turret is set to attack any.
True and as such this server is very close to the original no borders do what ever you want concept of StarMade.
Any particular reason why you as a staff member of two StarMade servers need to talk this one down? :-p:^D:ROFLMAO:
It is basicly a copy from the Brier website. But if you read a bit between the lines then you notice this server is great fun if you want to brawl.
I love being a Predator. :^D No BS or limits just go out and blast people to space dust all day long pew pew.
And for the unwary pacifist that...
Part of the problem with Steam is that it sees the StarMade Launcher as the game and not StarMade it self.
According to Steam i have 7.5 hours of play time on this game.
So i tend to run StarMade without Steam running that frees up some cpu power as well.
I change a lot of settings since some of the default ones can be harmful to the continuous long term operation of a server.
Look here.
Depending on how powerful your server is. It might be a smart idea to not have any NPC factions at all and just use the in game Pirates and Trade guild fitted...
Well it is a pretty big ship. Big enough to cause problems. I seen bigger but it is of a class that well can have problems.
How many barrels/outputs fire per shot? Just a few or 100+. The problem might be to many bullets on screen.
It looks like a Fleet set to mining became stuck at spawn in sector 2 2 2.
This is a bit of a problem because if you change your user name and try to load the map. Than you still get placed in sector 2 2 2.
If it was any other sector then changing your name would get you away from the problem...
Try toying with the use Framebuffer setting.
Otherwise i think the Ati 4600 Windows 10 Combo just ain't working.
Do you have a spare harddrive to try out a Windows 7 install? That way you can test without messing up your current Windows 10.
Else try getting a second hand ultra cheap but newer...
I also see some installation path issues. The game can not find your keyboard.cfg file. It all seems to be installed to your Desktop.
Can you reinstall StarMade to a directory like Games\StarMade
Make sure you check your installation path in the StarMade launcher. You could even try using the...
You and Server Owners can change most aspects of Sun Damage in the GameConfig.xml file.
The biggest problem right now is the default 5 seconds before taking damage which is way to short.
On Windows the Old Launcher closes and a small white window opens. Sometimes in the background that is the running server.
I do not use Linux. But after you hit the Start Server try looking at running processes in the background. If it started then it should be there.
One thing to watch out for. Is that StarMade combat does not become a human less affair. You can already send fleet after fleet to your enemies Home Base. To camp him silly if his turrets suck. All from within the comforts of your own Home Base or a cloaked ship.
From what i have seen in...
It should be in your StarMade directory and not in the StarMade Launcher directory. Though i don't know how many options you have on a MAC to browse through files.
How general is this?
If this effects most MAC computers. Then that would mean most people that download StarMade on a MAC will...
Either limit the builds on the server to the calculating power of the servers CPU and RAM
or
Give the server more resources so the Human imagination can expand.
You had a little room to add.
Beware that you might hit another Hardware limit at some point. Though 4 GB RAM is pretty good.
Some...
Change your User Name and try to log on.
This will place you near Spawn at 2 2 2 and away from the planets where you crashed.
Please report back if this works i will look over your settings in the mean time.
At first glance this:
Your servers processor is weak and the default StarMade...
The Graphic Cards memory might be to small. Though i have seen StarMade run with very low resource use. This is highly depended on the settings used or the size of the builds in the game.
If StarMade refuses to load then directly editing the settings.cfg file might be an option to try.
Look...
