I love how these changes will mainly do two things for SM. First off it will shift from you being a one man crew to being a captain. Secondly it will make sure nobody ever calls this game minecraft in space again.

Very nice! I love the progress. I can't wait to get this thing flying and once the AI crew gets put in the game having a fully manned Voyager to fly around. Well clearly it'll be a functional room. :P

To me the thing that makes it not work is that Voyager was designed to be able to land on a planet. The saucer section was not designed with atmospheric thrusters, so if it separated in atmo it would never get off the planet. I think the conflict between the two is what makes it not make sense...

Actually I'm glad. I found some blueprints of it online that said it can but honestly I don't like that idea. I'd rather it not be able to separate actually.

Oh thank you. Basically every one I've seen was by someone that put the TNG holodeck instead of making it actually look like the Voyager one.

I don't remember seeing it separate in the show but according to some plans I found online it does have that capacity. But since it wasn't in the show though, I don't think it would be missed. The landing legs and rotating warp nacelles would be a nice touch too, but not totally necessary either...

That is looking amazing. I can't wait to see it uploaded when it's done. Will it have the detachable saucer section and captain's yacht? Or at the least the yacht.

That doesn't mean there aren't people keeping an eye on it hoping something happens, waiting for someone to post a better ship. I'd especially to see a rail elevator in the engineering section.

That would be cool to do the interior to match that ship lol.

Because the ship looked so cool in the last episode, I changed all the grey armor for black.

Because despite how bad the episode was, the Delta Flyer in the last episode of Voyager looked AWESOME. So I now have the black version. Same ship, I just replaced the grey standard armor with black standard.

In that case I'm making it quite a bit larger. I'm making the new design 42m long and proportionately taller, too. I wish SM had half height blocks and slopes.

That's okay, but if you were okay with a collaborative creation we would have to find a server to play on together or something like that. That's all I meant. If not that's fine too, I was just putting it out there.

SWEEEEET! I think my DFIII should be look like the deployable armor one. I blocked out the general shape with tekt and a few other materials and it looks best (to me) in dark grey. I'm looking forward to what you're making too! I play on Dominion Prime btw.
