Another small update on the alesia.
The main hull is almost finished.
Things to be done:
-fixing front end
-adding engine section and engines
-equip proper turrets
-interior (only the bridge is somewhat done by now)
-smoothing out the hull
-adding details and decals to the hull
-energy and...
Beside the discussion wether the model is stolen or or not, it looks great.
Use the hull and go on from this point. With quite a bit of work you could make a really interesting and nice looking ship out of it. ;)
An update on the alesia:
These are the very basics by now. I'll propably change the front end make it look more like the original concept, but its a good start I guess.
Once again due some problems with my old image hosting service, here is the concept of the alesia:
What about connection the Shipyard and the Starmade Dock? E.g. purchasing a ship gives you the link to the community content site of this ship to download it there.
So basic planing is done! I may start building later this day I guess. Untill then, here is some eye-candy ;)
I'll do the turrets after the patch with the new weapon system is out for obvious reasons ^^
I had not much time over the last couple of days, but I managed to build a nice little shuttle for your everyday needs ;)
With some spare time ahead I'll try to build a larger ship, the Alesia from Starship Troopers: Invasion
Or at least this is what the ship should look like :D
Oh and I'm...
I know that feel bro!
Another way to improve your fps is outsourcing! I used to play with a fps of 15-20 on my computer. But I started a dedicated server on my laptop (which is even more crappy than my computer) and now I can play with a solid framerate of 60.
I know its not really a practicable...
I had the same idea a few days ago for making some top- or side-facing grav generators to eject escape pods or torpedos.
But as you sad, defining what is in or what is affected by what gravity block is the mainproblem I guess
Okay my WIP ship -by now known as Manta Class- is on hold.
I'm too lazy to fill up the whole ship, but the exterior is almost done.
So here are the (final?) pictures:
But I already got some more ideas for other ships, so stay tuned ;)
