Found out the engines started in a position that would make them rotate the wrong way, should be fixed now.

the challenge here is to make something good with fancy rail stuff within a mass limit that is quite small. Giving more mass to work with would not make it so challenging as it is right now.

It's a problem with your setup, the game is supposed to behave like that. The problem is that the rail rotators can only be set at 45 degrees , (45,90,135,180, and so on). You need to make sure that the rail piece is able to be locked at the 45 degrees. The way you set your rotator to stop...
