If it's not a giant box or cylinder say goodbye to your life... The problem here wouldn't be the computer but the actual time it takes to build it. Not to mention that you could only view ~2km segments at a time.
A bit too boxy for my taste but it looks nice!!! The superposing armor plates really help alleviate the flatness :D. This is going to be a force to be reckoned with.
Thanks Mariux
As Mariux said, I'm not trying to be a jerk at all! You literally accused me of harassment while I was only trying to help. That's why I got a little sarcastic to make you understand that people were trying to help, which you clearly didn't understand...
I don't get why you're...
If you make a siege weapon it's pretty easy to reach over 1 million damage. Once the shields are down you can just blap the core with an other weapon during the shield depleted regen timer. This ship might be good versus normal weapon configurations but it still has a gigantic weakness.
That's...
I think that the current shield blocks should become the buffer blocks when the change goes live. It's currently the regen block, which completely messes up every single ship ever built. Refitting some of the shields into regen would be much easier than the opposite.
As for the fighter VS...
For the civilian rooms I suggest making a really big open space with all the rooms/malls/stuff surrounding and stacking around the area. Think a bit like the human cities in the matrix but without the gigantic pillar in the middle. I think that it would provide more breathing space for...
You won't be seing any of this until late Beta stage, unfortunately. Trying to fine tune balance when half the features are missing is just a waste of time imho. HOWEVER, I'd like it if they stopped swapping out the default mechanics every two updates. It may have a config but most (read: all)...
Turrets are very buggy at the moment, they occasionally have a "nope, screw you" attitude with me too. I suggest installing ship mounted weapons instead for the time being.
I feel your pain.... I also get around 11fps while building, forcing me to reduce my view distance.
Are you positive that FPS will go back up once the inside is filled up more and that wedges are added?
Edit: more like 6 fps now...
