Why not make the loot solid? Then you can have a server config for it to be hoovered up, or bounce off the ship unless you get your butt out of the cockpit? Then everyone is happy!

Frickin' great idea. This would be both visually impressive and functional too, so vote up for that. However, it would need to be frame skipped, just like real spacecraft/planes or else it would disorient again.

I personally dislike loot clouds as well, the Isanth ships should be upgraded to have storage boxes, if there are storage boxes on custom ships a *SMALL* amount of loot should be in *a few* of them. If there is no storage on the ship, then it should be on the body of the pilot or something.

BTW my friend showed me it, his ship (Made out of mars rock, lol) I got hyped straight away, and when I played it at home I wondered if I could reach the planets. I did, it was an ice planet and I was hooked straight away. Related:

Just interested in how you found it. Pretty sure this may have been posted before (I got no alerts) so just to make it interesting: What made you play this game and think "Yep-this game is going far and I can't wait for updates"?

You don't need to purchase the game to have access to dev builds, as far as I know. But it is convoluted and difficult to get working.

You can name planets but they don't show up. Agree with everything else but orbits might be difficult What do you mean by 'ships controlled from point to point b'? Remote control? Autopilot?

I've wanted this idea implemented for a while, how am I supposed to create a space Man 'o' War without it?
