Pirates at this stage in the alpha are just a nusiance, and the turrets in their stations, pathetic. I would certainly like a challenge. Also, if the pirates are harder the farther out they go, the less people will make their bases ten million sectors away from spawn, thus promoting a faction...

We use insanely fast d1000 turrets for base and planetary defense. They act kind of like mass drivers from halo, and are able to neutralize large ships in a few shots, if not obliterate them entirely. Where would these go?

If at all possible, make a light cruiser, we only have heavy cruisers in service right now.

You\'re in a star system. The sectors are all messed up in those. If you keep flying forward, it should fix it. Sort of.

Some noob or troll shouldn\'t even try taking out a capital ship, built by somebody who\'s spent weeks on the server building it. No superweapons, and twenty fighters still shouldn\'t stand a chance against a well-constructed supercapital. In order to take down a big ship, get on par with it.
