Never mind, I found a detailed crafting tutorial on the homepage of Starmade.org.

Do you know of an example entity I could make the leader of a faction? I tried the tutorial names, the name of a shop owner, and a crew member, but it only created errors.

I think there should be a crafting tutorial ingame so that people could easily understand how to craft.

Could anyone give me a description on the tools needed to create a mod for Starmade?

Sounds very exciting! If you can get this mod to work, it would heavily expand Starmade, and make the game more interesting.

Alright, since orbiting seems either already implemented or unavailable at the moment, how about probes or spy drones? Uses would be to spy on incoming ships or recon space stations, planets, or hostile environments near your position.

I have been wondering lately, how do you download ships to Starmade?

For colonies, they should often have sieges or alien invasions conducted by rival alien races, and there should be huge space battles between alien races.

I ran into one of those, and my ship, as it was a piece of crap at the time, did not last very long. Adding onto pirates, you should not only be able to battle them using a ship, but at pirate stations you should be able to battle them on foot. And they should add a pirate captain or boss...

Are there moons for planets on the game? If not, it would be a very interesting idea if you wanted to establish a space station on a moon if the nearby planet is your mining world.
