Turrets are performance heavy (collision checks etc). There's a bug in release where AI forces the turret into positions where it has to do constant collision checks which causes a massive drop. That issue should have been resolved in the latest dev build so hopefully that solves it for you.
"One of the most requested features" Chairs are going to be a gameplay (replacement for shipcore maybe?) feature so I exclude them from any 3D decorations mentioned in this thread. The rest is what it is, decoration and adds little value for me.
I don't see how implementing 3d decorations would...
I've seen this before too, I believe only local blueprints don't save their connections but server side ones do. (SP only has local blueprints)
We've a bug report about that so when I have some time I'll make sure to check it out so it can be fixed for the next release.
Awesome! I'm not sure if that first picture is from before but you should uninstall the 32 bit version, often java will force itself to use 32 bit instead of 64 which can cause some issues.
Hi there, have you tried making a ticket on the starmade - support site? (http://help.star-made.org/support/tickets/new) They should be able to help you with the issue you're having. There's also a list of common problems + solutions listed on the support site so maybe you can take a look at...
I'm not sure about those "testers that wrote me off" you're talking about but let's assume you're still willing to give us a hand to track this issue down. The few testers we have play on the test server and they have not met this problem before so you must do something specific to cause these...
The latest devs have new ship systems in the works.
Center of mass has been added
"Ship HP" got added
"Armor HP" got added.
I would not be surprised if new thrust systems would be implemented, with a config option to keep the old-ish system or to switch it around to a new but more realistic...
Check the date and note, only the inaccuracy caused by sliders got fixed at that time. The algorithm itself for circles was fixed in a version not yet released to public. The one for torus/sphere is not changed yet as far as I know.
You dock the fighter to a docking platform, and you dock the docking platform to a rail that is like in that screenshot. And yeah, the docked vehicle/platform is able to move from the top left to the bottom left with this way. I can't upload a GIF since it gets stuck then.
Yeah it would be nice to have this, I think there was another about this though.
You can do what you want with just 1 rail, but it requires a little bit more logic and it can get complicated fast.
