I think there is a shipyard subforum for this. But I could be wrong.

Mobile Shipyards would be a nice addition, although it would ruin the point of having a base. You could have a size restriction for mobile shipyards, as well as less efficient building, or reductions on shielding, max speed, or thrust.

I started out with segmented hexagons and simple shapes. Some of my first "actual" builds. Unnamed Frigate from about a year ago, and in the lower right you can see a Corvette. (Behind that you can see my Mech.) The Mech, it's copied from the Nemicus Commander from Planetary Annihilation...
