      Run a contest to make the best space stations around. Use a handful of small/medium/large designs as the new shops. Some might be complete battlestations. Some won\'t.

      Cannon Accuracy

      There is one good reason to have less than perfect accuracy with weapons: It spreads damage across a larger hull space. This makes hull blocks more effective at long range, but does not hurt high accuracy drilling at short range.

      Warpgates

      There are half a dozen ways to do FTL travel. Gates would make a nice component of space stations. The owners could link them up and create connections across the galaxy as the community grows. It is not something a ship would use.

      Raw Resource Pirate Drops Entice Manufacturing

      Pirates already provide a complete hull worth of resources that were not destroyed in battle. I aggree that they have no need to drop further finished goods. Raw materials will be fine.

      Constructor Module

      Such a feature is better suited to space stations and docks, rather than given directly to ships. Any form of regenerating health allows vessels to survive an infinite amount of enemy fire on the extreme scales. It would not be a problem to regenerate ships in dock, as they do not have to deal...
