Shields only use energy when they are recharging. If you get hit, they will drain power (in this case 5525000). If power load+power regen is smaller than your shield power usage, they won\'t recharge at all, you have to at least provide the energy for one tick or your shield will become weaker...

im not really familiar with programming and opengl and such, so i though it MAY could have somethign to do with this. i have read that shield dispersers drain about 4000 e/s and not just 2 e/s, so there has to be some sort of problem and im looking for a solution for it. maybe its the game code...
