FPS gamers aren't gonna think Star-Made is any good... it's like a different culture at this point.
i sympathise, i paid for a small server for my friends to come and play MC with me a while back, but they couldn't be bothered because x-box.
i tried this at your behest. it removed the gui and seemed to relieve me of my mouse control of the ship. i'm not sure how that was supposed to accomplish what i was hoping for. o_O
i'd like to be able to navigate the coordinate system of sectors manually. i'd like to see a toggle in flight mode that would add a graphic overlay of the grid patter the sectors are layed out in as you fly, so you know which way is "z+" or which way is "y-" from your current sector.

thanks from me as well, after i updated my drivers and everything else i could think of i was about ready to give up on this game, but now i can play again. :)
simple question - does the configuration of shield regenerator blocks alter their efficiency, or is it just the quantity on the ship? i.e. long lines or boxes or doesnt matter?
i just went into the config and disabled the docking module checking size. now i can dock anything i want as long as it physically fits there.
go into the server.cfg and change IGNORE_DOCKING_AREA to "true".
i've been diligently saving my ship builds into the catalog in case server issues cause me to lose my ships, but i cannot get the /load command to work. i use the command as indicated but it throws an error and lists the ship names available in the catalog - including the one i just used...
i currently only play by myself. when using admin commands on my 'server' such as god_mode or sector_chmod, do those settings persist in a config somewhere until altered, or are their effects lost because the 'server' stops running when i exit the game? in other words, so far i've been using...
