      For players, yes. I like a lot beams for being easier to target with on small vessels. For IA, no. Cannons are clearly the best to play with on the current state.       Personnaly i would look at a menu in the bobby, as said above, with theses kind of things : - target range - target type (astronauts, missiles and so on) - time between checks for another available target Can add a few things like the prefered mass you want to target.

      The low range of the beams is clearly a problem while it got the same dps as cannons.

      I would look more at beam/cannon weapons than missiles ones. Not sure if a effect is needed as the first blocs needs to be warheads to explose. Piercing can be tricky if the ennemy torpedo got some shields.

      Take a few low range defence turrets and that's it (not PD). You got your anti warheads turrets.

      Exposed systems aren't a big problem if your ship isn't covered with, this can be a good thing to add details. Especially animated details with power blocs and things like that.

      Srsly tho anyone knows how to decompile it if they want to. The only one downside to this is that you'll lost the name of the different variables to something like A, B, C and so on. That has been used a lot for mods developpers way back on minecraft for example.
