Did you make the ship before or after the shield updates/changes? Did you use Shields as a filler block like most people did? It might be the shields see. They drain power like no other and now actually consume it. Now the go-to filler block is battery block. What's your power consumption.

Oh man, building triangles in this game is BRUTAL. I like the idea of a colony ship/floating arcology, you also could save the hollow shell and use that for arena tournaments.

God damn, thing looks like a futuristic gun more than a ship! The bridge is especially sexy, I love the nuclear reactors.
