From what I recall no they will not fire any direction except straight forward, mostly because we once had ai that could fire horizontally... you can imagine how that worked out.
Looking at it, in reality the torch does 2 damage per second ignoring armour / other effects.
Plex door has 100hp ~50 seconds
faction module 255 hitpoints time ~130 seconds.
Considering your measured times will probably have an uncertainty due to human error makes sense eh?
I remember that :D My weapons got killed by the drone you guys brought along >.> Which was why I was hard to hit, since I didn't need to try to aim back. Would like to try again one day though.
Hm I thought you were avoiding the plates on the homebase? They don't really fit in with the rounded shapes... although im not sure what else you could do. Congratz on getting your first ship in however.
Also add that the trade guild provides a certain amount of energy as a baseline for the smaller freelance ships in the universe. Haven't formed an opinion yet on this, want to mill it over.
One other thing, you will have to use starmade authentication too. Else anyone could log on as you and use your admin rights to mess around, just a word of warning since this seems new to you.
You don't even need a second installation, just don't use the steam link to load starmade. Load the dedicated server directly using the starmade starter and use the steam link to play. The former will not be tracked on steam or have overlay, so you can have both open.
The link steam makes just...
Sounds more like structured pvp, so there are two sides which fight for control of the universe. It's not a bad idea but it isn't something starmade players have really done before.
Took so long to kill me :D I lost my computers pretty early on so I was just flying about, didn't know about the drones until it was too late. Was fun though.
