Sadly there isn't a IG fix for that but what you could do is rotating the texture (in your starmade folder ) 90°.

yes you should send hundrets of them to be effective but i don't think thats possible in starmade

starmade isn't a computer intensive game and we are in 2015 those old computers are starting to be needed to replaced and laptops aren't pc's made for pure gaming
