      Good point. If you leave your faction you could have your faction's current map data saved as a personal one, as would be required for people without a faction.

      I'd say server side maps saved by faction is the way to go. So all the people in the same faction share their discoveries.

      Schinefriends, is there any intention to change the mass/hp/armor of a block that is in slab form (or say, a wedge being different from a full block of the same type)? It'd would be nice to know before we all start building cool stuff with slabs then they change stats suddenly someday.

      Make sure you understand how efficient power generation works. Not mass blocks, but long segregated lines. Also, more mass is bad for cloaking. Use low mass blocks to form your hull. Advanced armor is not going to be a good choice. You might be sacrificing aesthetics for a good perma-cloaker.

      I dunno about 10x more damage, there are currently ways to make them extremely effective with a little engineering. But sure, maybe buff damage 5x and get community input on balance.

      Looks neat. With a ship that size, it seems like you should easily be hitting the 1m e/sec softcap power regen with standard line generators though (not counting your reactors).

      Swarmers are already a super lame no skill weapon type used by lame players (mostly on big doomcubes). Making them work better would make them even lamer.

      Will cargo holds function across different entities? Say for example, I have a modular cargo bay ship docked to a station, then my factory (modular factory even?) could be linked to draw from the cargo ship.

      I think the suggestion is really good if you go up a tier, I assumed this idea is planned: Shipyard linked to factories linked to materials will automatically create the blocks you need to fill a design.

      I doubt anyone would be performing anything beyond the most basic of maneuvers with logic thrusters, unless you could assign a key to x logic module as opposed to hotbar only activation.
