i think they are ~to scale. my scale is a bit different from Skug's (skug has his own method). mine are not entirely consistent with each other, but most of skug's are.

the larger ships that are too big are scaled down. most ships converted are shorter than 1000

they are converted from .obj and saved as sment or a blueprint folder with smd2's. you can use the ship catalog manager to import sment files ore you can just extract the individual folders into your blueprint folder in /starmade/blueprints.

you are forgetting that if they make corners and wedges, tetras and pentas, of lava, the game now has a block palatte to update/animate blocks for lava flow, which is 1 step towards having lava flow in the first place.
