I'm going to be honest and say that pretty much any faction that bases it's ship architecture on a pre-existing Franchise always fails. Star Trek appears to be especially vulnerable to this.

If you were to add any RP content its basically No Man's Sky with Blocks. You'd be better off focusing on the PvP features imo.
