Wormholes and black holes could be made different entities; the latter being dangerous to players but more common and wormholes rare but valuable. (Maybe valuable and rare enough for a faction to defend?)
Yes, since I built my first large ship when I was still new, and is since antiquated severely. I find that every time I make a new ship, I learn something new and can improve on my original, whether it be with a new docking system or just look better.
This is a simple suggestion. The current Inner Ship Remotes act as a Activation Switch (toggle per click), so can we get one that acts as a button?
Edit by keptick: For people wondering how to do this read the second post in the thread.
I'm not sure about this, but I heard the reasoning behind this was that giving them separate masses would increase the file size of each block. Can anyone verify?
This is a much-needed idea. My only thought is that they should still consume an appropriate amount of energy and thrust corresponding to the flagship, so it isn't a "free ride."
That's a good idea, and I like the idea of it being expensive to produce. The only problem is the devs have talked about plans to make resources regional, or some specifically hard to come by to encourage trade. Nice thought though.
This is awesome, but there should be some sort of game mechanic so that only smaller ships can utilize it, to encourage small stealth ship boarding parties. Perhaps a rapidly increasing power cost dependent on the mass of your ship?
I've heard there being something about a mercenary faction being planned. Perhaps there could be a list of tasks you could hire them to do for credits?
If ships all went their standard speed, then the main disadvantage of a fleet would be waiting for your slowest ship, not being stuck going slow instead.
Simple suggestion: can we have multiple advanced build mode helper areas (torus, circle, ellipsoid) active at once? My reasoning behind this is so that we can switch from one entity to another without having to delete and re-apply a helper filter.
