So going with the ability for npc's to mine out a sector,will they mine out your sector if faction is offline? or will faction defence fleets defend territories
I managed to make a permacloak/jammed ship with scanners and jump drive 8l/6t/7w ,It wasn't pretty and couldn't fly/cloak/charge jumps at same time ( the final downfall getting blown out of sky by pirates at 40k!) but if smarter then I worked quite well for station blitz's.
Great idea but with my luck in a toe to toe battle everything might be getting low and I may be going for the win when "blip" I leave the battle losing any progress.
an unfortunate event happened this weekend only days after loading my shipyard on server,there was a big crash and the server had to reset losing all but the blueprints i'd saved.The next question is do I gather resources and respawn drydocks or build all new design of station?
try going to attack raider station with carrier group just to discover the logic for the doors and launch don't work in high ping,then they all launch in hanger and start fighting attacking ships outside of carrier. What a fireworks display missles,beams,cannons blazing everywhere!
I use boarding as a method to take out pirate stations,i fly there in a cloaker and break in with the torch beam. it takes awhile and can be a challenge to elude the in coming reinforcements. What we need is explosives that can be used to breach ships and stations.
