      I get your point, but there is already a magnetic docking system for rails in the game, and there are pickup rails that can be used to emulate that same effect. I imagine that you're talking about ships just being able to fly into a hangar and land without the need of rail blocks.

      I agree, this will improve engine rooms, so that they actually serve a purpose. Currently it really isn't practical to have engine rooms, but if engine's power is scaled based on size, then we can have large engine rooms containing the massive engines.

      Cross Entity Lighting

      +1 I agree completely, nothing looks worse than an elevator coming up from the lower decks, and it is way darker than the rest of the ship. And its difficult to hide hidden doors and weapons on the hull because the lighting gives it away.

      So how will you know the plans and goals of the other factions after scanning their faction territories or whatever. How would you disrupt the goals of the opposing factions? Would you have to destroy their resource processing factories or take out there harvesters?
