Okay, I totally understand. I do not have much time myself. I will probably finish it p quickly once summer roles around. But a Uni-complex sounds really cool. I have a few ideas for that myself.
Hey, I have also been building Borg ships . The Idea I have for my Borg cube design is a massive undertaking. I am trying to make one full scale and made up of quarter scale module cubes. I have been looking for someone to partner up with and maybe have a small server with to work on it. Interested?
A Borg Heavy Scout Probe based off of the scout ships in Str Trek Armada. It is slower than most scout vessels but packs quite a punch. Comes with an originally designed interior based off of what little we see of the Borg ships. Enjoy!

I like your use of "automagically" and yeah i was thinking along the same lines as your idea with shield walls and amc batteries. I was thinking of even placing the AMCs as turrets inside the shield module. That should be possible yes?
