Matt_Bradock ah. don't blame you. germ as in germinate. an early stage of a plant's growth cycle from seed. it is often called germination.
you have the beginning of something that could, with a lot of care and effort, turn out grand. #holdthesarc
Matt_Bradock very constructive. you have a real germ of an idea there. it's worth its own thread tbh. get a topic going to compile the best practices for managing and setting up PvP, PvE/PvP and a challenging 'pure' PvE server. once there's a consensus in that thread then start a new one for...
I like this one. They get it. Plisko, You have earned one WarSong Point. It expires immediately and has no value or exchange rate.
But for that fleeting moment... it was yours.
Not every server is for every one. That's not possible. You can't please everyone and you end up pissing them all off...
Aha! you see the comedy.
there's a couple of assumptions you've made:
i said MOCK outrage my nin-friend-o.
i'm not defending SA or any of their decisions and i never have.
i have, and will continue, to defend a server's right to be w/e it is that keeps folks coming back. SA is nothing if not...
or, and hear me out, broski... you could log in and get a feel for the place then leave if it's not to your liking. you know; just leave. no manifestos, no treatises. no need to find their forum topic and use up your imperial salary to dust it with impotency and mock outrage. you just... move...
love? tbh i have no idea who you are and i need a little more romance than 'herp derp i wike peeveepee'.
every server has the right to not give a flying toss what you think the game 'should be' or how to handle pvp while also reserving the right to show you the door. enjoy the door. its got a...
i enjoy my visits. for me (in the usa) the lag to an eu server makes pvp impossible. i have been enjoying breaking npc pirate's bases and testing out my mining fleet on a live server tho.
If it is done it should be done through the registry. Then it would tie-in better with the launcher and client.
If implemented correctly it could allow a trusted friend to join the same server easily. With some of the recoding happening right now it might even be possible that it would play...
A small and speedy salvager equipped with a Salvage+Cannon coupled array in a 16x7x7 double staggered configuration. Best used in fleet formations or for very specific salvage ops. Ops like taking parts off dead turrets/ships or harvesting resources in private sectors with high multipliers...
nah, straight 30, starmate doctor. that's two arrays in a staggered formation for a total of 60 long. well 61 end to end as i left a space between the odd and even arrays to make them easier to work with if needed. the sally pictured above isn't my planet eraser. that's my Magpie salvager with a...
i think the good doctor was having a go but i doubt there's anything meant by it..
well at least until that second post came along the system merged to the previous post.
you're being trolled Cluwne. wait for better bait.
besides that
i don't see why your salvage arrays need to be so large...
I wouldn't say that. It's merely a matter of choosing your play style and finding a server that caters to that. You can get a good feel for a server within 10min of logging in during peak times.
Good Luck and Good Hunting.
Pick any one of the more well rated and prolific builders in the community content area and you have a pretty good start. Just reverse engineer those a bit. That and a little youtubin' oughta net you some really good pointers. Some of the more audience aware streamers are also a good source as...
