      Prerelease v0.200.250

"agree" - a news post would have got me posting this earlier: Checking out latest build I am pleasantly surprised: MULTI-DIMENSIONAL stabilizer rules : Good ! :) This concept works much better than 1-dimensional stabilizers. Several people already suggested similar ideas on the forum some...

How to fix Integrity - Yeay Math Again!

"creative & useful" simple cube-integrity does seem a bit limited - and calculation load is always a concern - but Integrity concept is substantial one to work with, probably with various possible tweaks and additions possible. It might need some adjustments - the above suggestion seems valid.

      New Power and viable shapes

"The more you add to your ship the less it will look like a dumbbell or stick. Just add something like a backup reactor ... At least with this update ships can be made functional and look good often easier than before" a decorated dumb-bell – great :/

      Power 2.1 - A Compilation of Ideas

interesting - but please break up separate ideas - and check back through (or reference) various discussions already had about various ideas related to the Dev build - it would be useful to bring those together. But note that hardly any notice has thus far been taken about various dislikes from...

Heat/Cooling as an alternative to stabilizers and reactor HP

interesting ideas - but lets stop talking about 'heat', rather proximity-rules (or similar). Heat is lost energy - future power systems for space travel will not generate much 'lost-heat' that is not 'used' in some way :/ - thrust for example ... 'heat' implies an awful lot, where-as...

      Remove Stabilizers

Several people have mentioned how good choices to power systems would be , myself included - I like this basic type of 'pathway-connection rule' as one method - geometry/XYZ and stabilizer rules also have interesting functions and problems. Conceptually it is possible to have quite distinct...

      Remove Stabilizers

...good grief ...non of this is news - dev-build and power talk has been going on for months!

      Prerelease v0.200.250

This is true, and changes to thrusters and some other values have had more impact on 'freeing up space' than stabilizers and loss of XYZ-threads per se. There were issues with the 2mil power cap perhaps, and/or aux function, (personally, above the cap I considered a ship getting a bit too big...

      Prerelease v0.200.250

!!! - so we don't want build-rules that make an interesting game ? - and the legendary RP player doesn't care about systems that make some kind of sense, or achievement in making ship-systems work well ?? If it really is that 'Stabilizers' are to promote aesthetics, than they could hardly be...

      Prerelease v0.200.250

it is not so much that that it is restrictive per se - its more that only one shape is clearly better for min-maxing. 'deep' rules which promote various solutions would have been better than simple rules with an obvious single meta... For example the new connection rules i think are a good...

      Sensor can detect weapon activation

all good stuff - but another use is AI super-slave logic-weapon systems, which while all good fun can potentialy become extreme - i wonder if that is why the weapon output is not emitting a signal in the first place..???
