So, I just read the entire thing (I skimmed it for my other reply).
FUCK YES.
If this doesn't make it into the game I will make sure that schema doesn't get any cake. Ever.
Yep Yep Yep, I said a similar (although really summarized) thing in one of the other turret threads. Having something like this would really help with turrets.
That and separating the pirate/ship AI config from turret AI config.
Progression ingame isn't through game items, it's through what you make with them. Think of it this way:
starter ship = starter gear
Super mega titan of doom = ze best legendary equipment.
There already is progression ingame, it's just not super evident ^_^
Thanks a lot for your imput on this. I agree with your points, there really isn't anything that doesn't have flaws. At least I know that the dev team is now aware of the issues :)
How about ALL the things? My suggestion + the stuff you said. Wouldn't that be fun?
Have you ever played on a server? If so, you'd know that there's absolutely nothing to do after establishing you base or whatever. You can't attack other people's homebases and they can't attack you. It's insanely stale. 99% of players that have spent a good amount of time on servers will tell...

Uh... by definition a satellite is in static orbit. So no...
That's like saying "I'm ascending downstairs" or "A tiny giant". It doesn't make sense.
Edit: To the OP: Git gud.
Elwyn Eternity has rather big and evil custom pirates. I farmed those in order to get the shields. Killed them, salvaged them, shot the pirate station to call more, etc... I have to admit, PvE is quite fun with proper enemies.
In case you're wondering, I used the galactus to farm those pirates...
Take my likes, all of them. Having multiple settings on turrets at the same time would be a godsend. Being able to set a priority level on setting would also be amazing. For example, setting priority 1 on "anti-missile" and 2 on "any" would make it so that whenever there's no missiles up in the...
