      I think it is, basically so it is harder to make op weapons, which makes sense in a way that fights won't be over in just a few seconds, or as soon as the shields are down. Now we need to tactically choose weapons for different tasks. If we want many tasks then we need ai :D

      Bobby ai and pirate ai is the same, it is just that pirates are by default hostile and do not require the block. When facing an enemy faction with bobby ai they behave the same as pirates for example.

      I do agree that the animation of beams sucks, but they will add that later as mentioned, but the thing is you should combine weapons computer and beams to make them act like proper beams. Then they rock actually :D

      my feedback to you is to make shield regeneration bound to a hotkey, because i am helpless when someone shoots at me because when shields recharge it takes SO much power!

      i like linear shields so its easier to have heavy shielded ships!

      There needs to then be a hotkey to recharge/not recharge shields because sometimes you just want to blast through someone who has downed your shield, but you can't because the shields are recharging and you are unable to fire.
