Easiest thing to do is: Go to the second starmade launcher go to the tools bar in the top open the ship catalog manager find your ship and export it open your starmade folder and find the folder named "exported" Find the SMent with your ship name and upload it ???? profit

The storage blocks are only visible whenever there is enough in storage, try filling your storage completely and you should be able to see all the blocks. They are supposed to go invisible to show that your cargo hold is empty. And it increases the max capicity in form of mass not inventory...
