I disagree that armor being invisible. In minecraft pvp, armor textures make the difference between life and death, it makes you look intimitading, and tells you if you should attack directly or plan an ambush. It would be unfair to take away the visibility of armor, don\'t wear it if you need...

Maybe, but what about fighter pilots? I am just playing devils advocate here, but how ar fighters going to be viable if you increase the amount of energy that the need to operate with shields? Fighters will have to substitute weapon or engine power for a scrap of shielding.
