If you rotate your weapons computer then the weapons will fire in whatever direction you rotated it in. Then you can use a rotated SD cockpit to actually see where you are aiming.

I can\'t remember the sector (I will get it when the player who lived there logs on) and there was no warning of any kind of damage, blocks just started dissapearing.

Unless you have your bobby ai module set up wrong then the destruction of the first Scourge should cause your faction to auto declare war on the attacker making every nearby ai ship with its target set to any to immediately attack them.
Disintegrator mines are persistent while minelayer mines will presumably be temporary. There will be always be a place for permanent mines in longterm area denial.

The problem with long ships is that the game only loads the sector your core is in and all the sectors around it. If your ship protrudes into a third sector then asteroids, planets and empty ships will not load. However once your core catches up a bit they will load in... possibly inside your ship.
It\'s really annoying when you spawn in a battlecruiser with 20+ turrets and have to cliaim them all induvidually. It would also make the placing of proximity mines much faster.
I would like to point out that there is no reason why a ship cannot out maneuver another one smaller than itself as long as it has a sufficient thrust to mass ratio. On the other hand this is a game and therefore requires balance to be fun.

I completely agree but with one small difference. Rather than copy/pasting from the ship you are building you could select a portion of a ship which you could then load in when building a completely different ship. This way you could build and save a 400dmg amc, then whenever you want a 400dmg...

Since the recent update whenever i'm attacked by AI as soon as I get to half shield I get instakilled. This happens on servers and single player. Is my shield display buggy or do the AI penetrate shields now?
