I dont exactly agree on this, for one, a battlecruiser made out of thrusters should be able to turn or possibly move as fast as a smaller ship, wait a sec, this has given me another shipbuilding idea! But i get what you mean with the turning.

Well i guess they do debris. You can see the AMC blocks on each one. Not sure about shields though.

Well, it all depends on the supership/super weapon your fleet in fighting in my oppinion If the enemy ship is slow , then small and fast ships will most likely have the upper hand. If the supership is fast, i usually just try to use muscle (this doesn\'t usually end very well :P ) But usually...
