You would get little to no profit if you repair the station that way though. Turrets also turn into scrap now. I suggest to just salvage all that scrap, probably better then nothing.

Planets have random two minerals on each of their plates.

The faction block modules are not where the pirate station's target is, so you might have to look for it in build mode.
