You can always jump down a directory in the .zip file and only extract the "explosion" folder to it's correct location. (StarMade/data/shader/explosion)
Holy crap, an update!
Based on some of the feedback I've gotten (and a recent world-turning realization) I made some changes to the mod.
I hope you like it!
Pewer pews V2.0:
* Increased size of explosion visuals by 5x.
* Made beams thicker, so they actually match the size of the block...

How to install:
1. Download the mod
2. Unpack the .zip file into your StarMade installation. (The folder named "StarMade" in the same directory as the starter)
3. Boot...
Sadly, I cannot change to what my shader is applied. As in, my shader will only be "used" on objects defined by the game itself, and as I cannot change that, there's nothing I can do.
I will, however, try to update it to use the new colours in the near future.
Terribly sorry, slight oversight on my end! (This is why I shouldn't post resources at 5 AM.)
But please note that the crash only should happen when normal mapping is turned off.
The mod requires normal mapping to be turned on to work.
