There does seem to be a bit of a grey area and the lack of a video category probably makes this worse. I have now created a Shipyard thread but, it did cross my mind that certain videos (like this mini-series) doesn't fall into a "shipyard" category. It uses the game for purely entertainment...
It may be due to the Mandela Effect but I recall asking about the rod shops and the old stations and was told that they are being phased out in the universe update. Having said that, I cannot find the reply to my question now! If I am wrong then that is fine.
My original question also covered...
This is a joint shipyard thread for myself, my Aome Salvage & Industries (ASI), Jacks Mission Reloaded and our joint Splat-Khan videos and new community content releases.
Thank you for your valuable feedback. I really appreciate it.
I had built props and sets for Gary Kanes StarMade Adventures series, came up with the Rey Oulik character, whom the main protagonist, Captain Anthros mentions a few times, particularly in series one.
Gary and I would also discuss...
I am afraid that I didn't see any such comment, nor did I notice that Jack had reposted the link elsewhere.
I will create a new thread next time as appropriate.
Well, this is a double edged question if ever I heard one LOL!
To me, art encompasses pieces of static work such as paintings...
I don' t recall anyone suggesting to me that these videos should go into a shipyard thread. I agree about the lack of a video category though I saw these three episodes as a complete works and as they did neither showcase a particular build or "shipyard" but were a moving screenshot so to speak...
I get it now! Of course [facepalm]
Yes, it did occur to me about a "delay off" timer but as you said, one would have to weigh up the space it would require and the reduction in factory enhancers.
I think this is a step in the right direction.
While on the idea of server rules, it would be fantastic to include some faction creation rules and the like. For example, servers could be set up with two opposing factions (kinda like the LvD idea) where players could choose a side (or be added...
Quick question...is the 164 items an arbitrary number or does this tie in with anything specific? I cannot quite see the connection.
I did make an alteration to your circuit just for your interest. I added a NOT to the OR and added another storage to the NOT. This storage will draw 1000 items...
Yeah, I do like the automation and use a lot of that myself. My issue was giving a publicly accessible refinery that players could deposit resources for refining manually. As docked ships now draw stupid amounts of power from stations (why oh why oh why???) I just needed a way to conserve as...
So, let me try and get this straight as I didn't get a chance to try it out yet. In order for me to get the system to work that I want will take 3 storage blocks?
One for the manual deposit of resources and then the two from your template, one of which will be drawing from the manual input box...
Thanks, I will try this out.
It would appear that whatever solution there was for my issue is either broken, not properly implemented or not possible in the current game mechanic.
I suppose programming a routine to detect if a storage or refinery block has any content and to send a low/high...
Yes and yes! I followed three different tutorial videos to the letter and could get none of them to work.
The circuit would sit there primed and waiting until I attached the storage block to the sensor when it would make the light I had connected to the circuit flash in time with the clock! I...
