    OR make the player faster if affected by gravity... like 2-3 times, at least... but without changing the speed with SHIFT to too fast, since we will still need to use that, if building without a build block... and to escape from caves...
    Please do me the favor and measure the time you need to walk straight 500 blocks in one direction. As I´m ill, i can´t do it by myself but I don´t think the player model is walking slow at all.
    It is more necessary to implement transporting devices for ways towards different decks and around corners than just make the charakter move faster. for sure this game is sci-fi but if you have ever worn a gas mask or a breathing device you´ll know the struggle with moving fast while heavy breathing. As long as ships and stations can´t build up their own artificial atmosphere, theoretically, the player needs to wear his astro-suit with helmet.

    There's few benefits to changing the block scale/changing the astronaut scale.
    Issues about travel speed can be solved by other means, for example, a sprint function, a rocket pack, in ship teleporters, etc.

    As long as the problem is solved, I'm up for it. Maybe press scroll button (middle click) to toggle the sprint/jetpack?

    Right now your a child. With a 1.5m heigh table in front of you as soon as you just place 1 block.

    The benefits would mostly affect interior detail. Not exterior detail, which is important to not break immersion, make smaller air-locks, etc.

    Airlock:

    Right now, an airlock with logic needs to be about ~200m^3 minimum as the walls already take up 2m in all directions +2 m in one direction for logic and to hide logic.
    (Walls 4x2x2 + interior-space 2x2x3 => 6x4x5) + additional floor/ceiling +1 double wall to cover lights in the room below/above the side where no logic is covered = 7x6x5 = 210m^3.

    With 0.5m blocks (compared to the player model), the wall/logic size would be cut in half in all directions.
    4m floor/ceiling -> 2m
    4m walls -> 2m
    +1m logic +cover -> 0.5m logic +cover
    4.5x4x5 = 70m^2 = 1/3 size.
    And you can finally build a [ handrail | banister | parapet ] which is not 1m thick anymore.
    Also to hide a power-line in-between walls, you don't need 3m anymore, you need 1.5m, which reduces the size of room-separators greatly if signal-pipes from logic needs to be hidden.

    In a slightly different vein, I've long wanted to see panels, covers, slabs, and pillars added to the game, similar to what the mod "RedPower2" adds to Minecraft. Such microblocks would add wonders to our ship designs.
