Thank you so much! :'D I was afraid people were gonna point out that, from the sideview, the silhouette is suspiciously like that of a flaccid peepee
It's a Starmade build, sooner or later somebody was going to claim it has a phallic shape, whether true or not

Just a brief update, still doing reviews, still accepting late submissions, it is all taking me a little bit longer than expected, not the least because of real world matters, but I wanted to drop in and just provide that update! Nice work to everyone that has submitted since the initial closing, as well!

I'm still deciding if I want to stagger release reviews or not

How's it going? :) Maybe posting the reviews you already finished would give you the boost necessary to finish the rest? And you could always cut back a bit on how thorough they are...

Also, a different idea: why don't we do a contest where the winner builds are decided simply by setting up a poll where fellow starmaders can vote on one of the entries? It would be less than this, but still more motivating than building without an external driving force.

I think its on the table, but I personally really enjoy reading in-depth reviews.

Same... It sure would be good if we'd keep having contests with in-depth reviews. But as we know from a few precedents, they can become burdensome for the organizer(s), especially if they are alone and the entries are plenty.

Simpler and quicker competitions shouldn't be a replacement, but something in addition.

I gotta agree with robo, Doing them solo is a lot quicker and flexable than with more judges than the contest has submissions
