      I didn\'t mention the collision issues here. I am talking about ONLY large objects by themselves. Not collisions. Though now that you mention it, how does that gause a graphical slowdown when the server is whats being overloaded?

      So testing around. A 600 long ship that is 600 blocks alrge ( a line) causes the exact same effect. It\'s not the block count.

      It tapers up? Thats an interesting idea, but does not solve the vulnerability large ships have, of being buffer only. All that would mean is that a ship has a 10% regen rate before it dies, not really solving what I percieve as the problem.

      Please let this happen, community contributes and lots of help is waht starmade needs. There are droves of professional programmers waiting and wanting to help now, help fix bigs, help clean up code, help with certain instabilities.

      Though, with collision detection barely workign as is (you can go through walls 3-5 blocks thick at 100m/s), reducing the checks would just make that worse no?

      Thats the entire point, you NEED to be xxx powerful to engage me. Massive ships should not be able to be engaged and killed by a small 200 block ship. Which they currently can be, easily. Regen in combat is imperative, ships should have passive regen in battle. It\'s a completely broken game...
