      Factories on ships

      You could counter some of this with an "interference bug".... if the ship has a factory is running, it interferes with shields, draining them or completely disabling them... it could also disable cloaking. And this could apply if any factory is turned on, regardless if it is actually making...

      I agree. I had the thought of building a space station with repair "turrets" surrounding the docking zone, allowing any docked ship to be continually repaired. Makes a lot of sense to me.

      This could be done if sections were "pre-owned". You fly to a new sector already NPC controlled, by the Trading Guild for example. The trading guild may have some more military vessels that would hunt pirates or players who have angered them.... The only way this would work, in my opinion, is...

      As the factories have some minor displays on their block, why not just have a numerical readout stating how many items that factory will process on the block itself. Simple and non-obtrusive and has good immersion... Personally, I couldn't care which factory enhancers were being used, but this...

      As a quick improvement, I would like to see a very simple auto-pilot feature. It would have 2 effects in total.... 1. Hold your position, this can include hovering in place in a gravity field without plummeting... this part would work great with the planet fix...

      Making some planets hazardous would be nice provided there is a simple upgrade to your suit to overcome them. A hot planet has lots of magma and does some constant damage to structures etc. Heat shielding (or just shielding) could overcome this. Cold would be likewise but less structure damage...
