      We\'ve all been there, RAGE. I\'ve been screwed over a few times because you can\'t choose which way the turrets position themselves, as well as normal docking systems. Its a pain in the ass, but one you\'ll have to deal with until it\'s fixed.

      While the turning does still need a serious fine tuning, for the moment it works well, especially for ships that aren\'t planet sized. This is a temporary fix to a relatively bad turning system design, and I\'m sure that Schema will get back to it and fix it up a bit more when he has the spare...

      This wouldn\'t be too bad an idea. Armor is pretty much so much dead weight against missiles and AMC\'s, and I would like to see something along these lines. However, I\'m not so sure scaling by X Y Z would go so well. By that logic, someone could make a tiny fighter, a big gun with power cells...

While that\'s a decent idea, I personally don\'t think it\'s very efficient because it\'s still pin pointing exactly where to target.       Ship core needs changing

      I very highly agree. Most of those ideas being implemented would make combat a LOT more enjoyable. Star Trek Bridge Commander had a very good way of forcing players to use tactics rather than a massive of guns, and something similar to that in Starmade would be incredible.

      Turret Firing Arcs (New mechanic)

      A cool idea that could be good to use, but you\'ve got to remember that turrets are often times fairly weak, and need to be installed in a large number in order to actually be able to do some damage. The firing arcs would be a bit of a pain to install for every single turret.

      Normally I end up putting down a core, building the control room around it, and just building whatever comes to me from there.
