ComCardinal's Community Convoy Escort Contest - Spring 2025

Many thanks! :) Looking at the entire lineup , I would've placed several other entries before the Locust exterior-wise. But I'm sure the details of your scoring system will give a better idea of the rankings. Looking forward to the reviews.

      CYBERSPACE SHIPYARDS

The ship itself is great, a fantastic design executed splendidly. One of the most artlike starmade builds I've seen. Certainly would want to inspect it ingame once finished :)

      CYBERSPACE SHIPYARDS

I'm new to StarMade, is this how you start a ship build? ;) This project began with the (old) idea of making a template set of system units. If you choose to enclose all your reactor blocks in a single, nuclear-looking machine, you'll have a predefined limit on the total amount of...

Tried it on my two big mechs too...

A notice for those who don't play the game through Steam: be sure to re-download the launcher from starmade.org. That download was changed to a new launcher, which has better functionality, AND it seems to install the latest game update differently (with the previous launcher, I didn't get...

      CYBERSPACE SHIPYARDS

Just don't do this... My own plan of making good use of these skull turrets, is to dock one or two at each pillar of this octagonal station I designed in SketchUp years ago:

      Gigantic electric guitars v1

For all your space guitar needs ;) The three color schemes labeled as "tribute variants" can only be loaded in the game's Full Burn update (version 0.204.602 or higher). The basis for the recolored tribute variants was the Black-White one, they all have exposed signal pickups and white...

StarMade Ship Size Comparison Chart Continued!

With the left-side photography you use for these ships (and nonships), the pumpkinhead in the horseman's hand almost looks like it's actually on his neck :D Thanks for the inclusion!

      Jack-o'-Lantern contest

Thank you very much for the review and the contest itself! Looking forward to other competitions/build initiatives held by you. Also, in your review of Colonel Lacu's entry: "creating such an expressive face at such a small scale is pretty impressive." Nice choice of words (y)

      CYBERSPACE SHIPYARDS

Just as required :D I'll post more screenshots when the entire instrument is finished. You are back?! :) They do indeed remind of windlasses with chains around them... But they're actually tuning posts with guitar strings. It should look something like this:

      CYBERSPACE SHIPYARDS

(I'll probably replace those jagged pipes with straight ones built on six turret-like entities, so that they can connect their angled paths smoothly.) Guess the build! :D

      Jack-o'-Lantern contest

(Somehow still pulled it off in time) Does one get a point penalty for including a cannonball-decapitated rider of minecraft horses? :D Updated download: Pumpkinhead Horseman

Pumpkinhead Horseman - Included the Headless Horseman

      A small addition.

      Jack-o'-Lantern contest

I had fancier plans, but procrastinated with it enough so that I had to bang out something quick like this: Pumpkinhead ...it's flyable, shielded and armed, though :D

      Pumpkinhead Horseman v2

Happy Halloween, any day of the year! :) The horse is shielded and flyable (don't worry about him suffocating in space, he's already dead). The carried head can be hotbar-released, and used as an AI drone (it's armed). Built for a contest.
