Have you tried deleting and redownloading the StarMade files? How about running the launcher as an administrator? Always start with the simplest solutions first if you haven\'t already, it could save you a lot of trouble.

The same could be said for multiplayer worlds when hosting a server.

Sounds like it might bug. Does it immediately snap vertical or does it fall forward? Does it have a lot of other components in the front, or just the core?

If you want to play in a multiplayer game, you either need to host a server, which requires opening port 4242 and launching the dedicated server from the launcher, or joining an online game, which just requires going to the server list and finding one which you think would be a good fit.
