      Well the only way to find out is to make one of your own using the current code set. Then take out what does not work, and find a solution to the issue. Though this may not end in an exact replica, it may be as good. So give it a shot and see what happens.

      Thank you for the information, at least what I was seeing was supported by math. We shall see if this gets revisited in a future patch, Other than that I can see how this can be used to stop Missile spam. Oh well the systems I have now still hits like a brick so :)

      So after getting both the target and the main ship in the same sector I got it to work, one heck of a hole too. Thanks for the help, though we will likely need to get this reported as a Main cannon should not be a point blank weapon.

      Maybe that is the issue it may be a cross sector thing, I will need to continue testing it. Still boggles my mind that regular beam works just fine, but the combo is not atm.
