The most that i can deduce is that you are an electronic entity stuck in internet as we know it.
I mainly came to this deduction by your extreme lack of information.. Dont post unless your going to provide either enough information for us to help or your being constructive.
I am unsure of where to seek a fix for My problem so i turn to you guys for help/a point in the right direction
I am converting a ship obj into a binvox however i am getting a glitch in tho binvox

you can see the difference when compaired to the obj...
This is a great idea and actually seems like an inevitable feature that is needed for gameplay.
Now in terms of how the liquids act in zero gravity that is something that needs to be discussed but not until we need to (its a non essential)
And in regards to the ship decorations comment...
I found the wiki a little vague. The way I did allocated the memory was simple I opened the command prompt and changed the directory with cd (address to starmade directory)
then java -Xmx=2000M -java SMEdit.jar
now i always seemed to get an error after doing this but if after running that...
I bumped it down to 500 and its doing the same thing
edit the Saving GUI after entering the name is blank excluding the name at the top and the cancel button
I have imported a ship from .bonvox into SMEdit and was successfull. This particular ship is around 750 blocks long (I think) I had to allocate about 3 gigs of memory to be able to import it.
Now I know this is a large ship but all im trying to do is save it as a blueprint nothing more...
MIght I suggest a change in the manner of how the smoothing is done.
As it sits now it looks like a corner block is placed in all corners no matter what. Now when these corners are placed like so, but beside a wedge, you get visual problems.
My thought is maybe it should
a. always place...
Out of curiosity, is their a conversion rate when importing a .binvox
For example a box of x unit(s) in .obj form - then converted to binvox with a -d x limit will result in x amount of blocks
does this question make sense?
I am having quite a bit of delay when turning the image, also when painting.
Is this due to the programs computing speed, or my hardware?
If its a matter of memory how would I allocate more memory?
Thanks for the help (helpfull people) I just imported my fist obj - binvox - starmade works great lookl like crap (my shitty modelling)
However I am glad i figured it out Thanks and keep up the good work!
