Reliability of Rails ATM?

Hey there!

So, I was wondering if I get the latest dev build are rails in a stable enough state that my ship won't need a complete overhaul sometime soon? And do they have textures yet?

They do not have textures. But that won't be for long. Do you mean break you ship if you use them? I wouldn't refit any ship without a backup. They probably won't be stable till they are publicaly released AND hotpatch or two are rolled out.

What I mean is, if I build a new ship (using the latest dev build) that makes use of the new rails and docking, would it have a high chance of breaking the ship before/when the next release come out?

The Stable release will be an updated version of the current Dev build. It shouldn't break a ship built with rails but things breaking is always a possibility when using Dev builds

Okay, I guess if anything needs an overhaul there is remove filters! :P
