It is not unarmed in the slightest. It has had 5 turrets, about 50 missile pods, and a main gun that does about 500 damage x2.
It was attacked by simple vulture droids and the only damage it did was orange 1 vulture.

In SW that version of the ship is unarmed and I highly doubt that was not a planned / made up attack for the pictures
