So, introducing the Type 3 Starting Shuttle. It features a roomy interior, with an aid station, engineering station, com's terminal, and a cockpit with... wait, I forgot the CHAIRS!

Now introducing the Type 3 Starting Shuttle, chairs not included.

The purpose is to be spam built and thrown at newbies that are just starting the game, exposing them to basic and advanced building techniques, and the essentials of a spacecraft construction.

One of each type of weapon was added, except for the damage pulse, to show the player the various types of weapons, and how weapon linking works. Their is the Cannon-cannon-overload equipped, the Beam-Damage Pulse-Ion for taking down shields, and a Missile-Beam-Explosive for dealing with long range threats and crippling once shields are down. The new player can experiment with all of these, and decide which is their favorite to use, or something. It's primarily to give them a taste of whats available.

Support systems installed consist of a Jump Drive, Underpowered Scanner, and a 40% Overload for a speed boost. Their is also a effective salvaging array consisting of many 8 long salvaging tubes. Decorative lights for designating Port and Starboard are also installed.

New players, upon receiving the Type 3 Starting shuttle, can jump out of spawn and into a new system, where they can mine, shoot up small pirates, and dismantle the Type 3 for a bounty of parts, and can begin construction of a much better ship.

Now, I need your help. I have many display monitors that will provide information to the newb player, and tips on what to do.

For example, "this ship is equipped with 3 spindle reactors, allowing it to generate 3x the amount of power in the ships dimensions. If you were to connect all three reactors together, you would see your power generation be cut by 2/3. Make sure you plan your builds to avoid connecting spindles."

    Or something. Help me guys!

First, I love the ship! Asymmetry FTW!

Second, I find the information a starter ship needs is not how to play the game but instead what should that new player do to have a successful start. It changes from server to server but generally you can suggest them to join a faction or make their own. Then claim a system then... you get the idea. If they need to know how they do those things, they can ask the community, giving them a chance to interact with the community. Just my idea.
