Drones with a strong Push effect on a clock have more erratic movement and are harder for cannon turrets to hit.
Push effect can theoretically double your acceleration (up to server speed cap - overdrive is bugged for this), but it's still less efficient than just using that space for more thrusters.
I've recently made some kamikaze pirates that make use of defensive push clocks. Wonder what would happen if I stack a dozen of them together and attach a timer to their docks

I found that I got the most hits with 2 second (4 delay blocks) clocks but unless the module-to-mass was high ships tended to move rather slowly and can be easily shot down
