Well, that's their problem when they realize they can't play the game anymore when it enters beta.

Could do, however explaining that they can try the game for free until we decide to not offer it for free would be hard. Plus, we might get a few complaints from people who thought the game was actually free. It doesn't solve the problem that people just don't read anyway.

I don't think it's a large enough of an issue to go that far, not sure if we would even be allowed to do that. We tried to have it in our main description, but it was denied by Valve and we had to find another way to do it.

I would guess that when the game leaves Alpha status, the last Alpha version will still be free, but any new version will require a payed license to play.

I bought the game even though I read that the alpha version was available for free. I thought that the alpha wasn't the full version until I started playing it. But I still like that I bought the game because once it becomes beta I will won't want to buy it.
