healing beam

hi me and my friend have been playing starmade for a bit and one alteration that we think needs to be made which looks wrong and thats where the healing beam comes from when used

You can change which weapon/support block outputs (shoots) the beam by pressing R on it (if that is still the default enter/exit button).

He means the beam from the astronaut. The astronaut aspect of the game will get some love eventually. Like actually needing the helm, weapons/tools getting their own unique models. I doubt we will see any other changes to this side of the game for a while but I'm sure it will be more refined such as that beams actually come from their intended tools.

Pretty sure he's referring to the fact that the handheld beams come out of or slightly above your character's crotch region. Yeah, that's in definite need for a fix.

most likely an artifact from the pre-dave days when we had a malformed alien as our PC. it'll get changed

Hey, leave my crotch-beams alone. It took a lot of time to upgrade from Doom's crotch-level-rocket-launcher to beams. :p
